Hello hello! I’m back! I hope you have had a gorgeous holiday season! In the last month we have traveled to Florida (Disney), Chicago (enjoyable and operate ) and California (Disney again! ) To join my spouse on a work trip). I slept for 12 hours each night and am ready to usher in the new year! :-RRB-
Usually by today I have every little Christmas down, a few decluttering done and a lot of cleaning began. . .but right now everything is still up and the home is a complete pit. I’m only going with the flow. We’ll begin the new year doing all those items instead!
Today I’m eager to share my greatest and finest DIY jobs of this year! I had been considering what to discuss and could not produce a ton initially. And then I started searching through our home and realized that I had been very productive. That’s always a wonderful feeling!
1. ) Office transformation with built ins
I eventually tackled the rear wall in my office this past year! The area went out of this:
There are a few more projects I intend to handle here this coming year. Can’t wait!
2. ) Small kitchen jobs add up to a lot of personality
I have done a TON of small DIY jobs in our kitchen this season. Individually that they might not be much, but they made a difference. Here’s the way the kitchen appeared before:
And here it is now, following a island makeover, mild rails added into the cabinets and Built-in storage near the refrigerator:
Here’s another appearance earlier:
Here’s another appearance at the following! (It’s such as Where’s Waldo of small DIY jobs!) :
3. Fireplace personality with mdf trimming
One of my favorite endeavors of this entire year was one of the cheapest! I painted our Huge fireplace wall This past Year, but had always intended to add something like it:
I have a brand new carpet on the way with this area and I can not wait!! I believe that it’s going to be wonderful in here.
4. ) Toy and sport storage which seems fantastic
Our basement got a little attention this season too. I wished to apply this lengthy wall for storage (however it had to look great!) .
5. ) Pretty sand room makeover
I was gung ho on a mud/laundry room makeover before this season and just got half of it done. The side that is completed looks pretty great ! Here’s the way the space seemed :
I’ve got big plans for this area which I will share with you shortly!
6. Master bedroom makeover with background
Our master obtained some upgrades too. We managed to receive the hardwoods (that operate through the remaining principal degree ) installed and we LOVE it! Here’s the way the room appeared with all the carpeting:
I still have to paint everything beneath the trimming — it is a massive job so I’ve been putting it off to the new calendar year.
7. Adding personality to large wall with trimming
It was exactly what the space needed! Paint and molding create such a major difference!
8. Hanging background in small hallway
And here it’s with the background that I love SO SO far:
You can observe all the specifics and how to set up wallpaper !
In addition, I painted the ceiling, then changed out the door trim and also shifted out the shade on the ring:
9. New terrace with fire pit
And last but not least — the brand new terrace in our backyard! I didn’t do this one , but I did all the finishing touches! I really don’t possess a real before of our lawn, but This Is the Way it seemed right after they completed the terrace:
Here’s how it appeared after I added the finishing touches for it! :
There you move! I attempted to round up this to ten jobs but these nine were the most important and greatest. ;-RRB- I’m thrilled by what I realized this season and can not wait to begin on new jobs! I’m consistently so ready to receive my hands on something new this season.
I’ll reunite together with my home plans for your new year soon! Have a safe and enjoyable new year!
